Taylor Swift experimented with voice production on "Midnight Rain," a Midnights ballad about a kid who looked for "comfortable" in the wrong place.

Swift's 10th studio album gave her one of the most historic weeks in the 64-year history of the Billboard Hot 100 singles list, as she became the first artist to capture the top 10 in a single frame. "Midnight Rain" was ranked fifth.
