50 Cent, real name Curtis James Jackson III, was born on July 6, 19751 in Queens, New York, and is an American rapper, music producer, actor, composer, and businessman. Jackson began selling drugs at the age of ten, then moved on to a musical career in 2000, during which he was hit by a ball. Following the release of his collection Guess Who's Back? in 2002, 50 Cent is discovered by Eminem and signed to Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records.
